Columbia University Club of Washington, DC (CUCDC) will be assisting
Food & Friends, a local charity that provides meals and nutritional
counseling for persons with life-threatening illnesses (primarily
HIV/AIDS and cancer). The CUCDC has volunteered to work in the pantry
assembling/packing meals which will be distributed to the families/individuals.
We need volunteers!
PLEASE NOTE that only ten people are needed for this event, and you
will be signed up on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please send an
email to tclarkson23@ . and
put "Date of the event (i.e. 12/18 for
December event and so on), Columbia Volunteer" in the subject
line. Thanks for helping our neighbors!
When you arrive at Food & Friends, you will need to sign in at the
front, please let them know that you are with the Columbia University
Club of Washington, DC and that you are going to work in the pantry.
A Food & Friends representative will help you.
